CSIOS Corporation has named Dr. Edmund Mitchell to the role of Corporate Chief Business Development Officer.
CSIOS Board of Directors officially approved Dr. Mitchell's appointment effective March 22, 2016. In this capacity, Dr. Mitchell will be responsible for orchestrating CSIOS business development strategies, designing and implementing processes to support business growth, driving business prospects through to contract awards, and overseeing marketing strategies and corporate capture and proposal initiatives.
Prior to coming to CSIOS, Dr. Mitchell was a business development strategist at Wyle Laboratories, where he was responsible for supporting multiple pre/post-award functions and portfolio/program management efforts within a large body of contracts within the Naval Space & Warfare Commands account, totaling $2B.
"Dr. Mitchell is a distinguished business strategist and executive advisor with more than 30 years of extensive and unique leadership and business development experience in the defense, intelligence, aerospace, and federal sectors." said Mr. Cesar Pie, President and CEO of CSIOS. Mr. Pie added, "Dr. Mitchell has a winning and successful career history identifying, qualifying, advocating, and tracking portfolios of qualified contract leads; creating capture strategies for large and small businesses; and managing and administering budgets for all size contracts. A retired veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he is the perfect candidate to lead our business development efforts."
