CSIOS Corporation supports the Director, Operational Test & Evaluation (DOT&E)

CSIOS Corporation announced today it was awarded a new contract with the Director, Operational Test & Evaluation (DOT&E).

Under this contract, CSIOS Corporation will execute a Joint Test and provide Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) services in the field of Defensive Cyberspace Operations to the DOT&E Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) Program.

Established in 1972 by Title 10 U.S.C Sec 133 and chartered by DOD Instruction 5010.41,Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) Program, the JT&E Program is designed to assist the warfighter in solving operational problems and issues through the development of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) that enhance operational processes and command and control systems and architectures.

“Under this contract, CSIOS Corporation will assist the DOT&E evaluate advanced technical and operational concepts to standardize joint TTPs to proactively detect and respond to the cyber insider threat before they have a negative impact on our military operations.” said Cesar Pie, President and CEO of CSIOS Corporation.  Mr. Pie added, “CSIOS Corporation is ready to continue to contribute towards our military dominance in cyberspace.  The development of our nation's next generation set of cyber capabilities, methods, and TTPs is essential to all military operations and the protection of our nation.”

Dr. Edmund Mitchell, Chief Business Development Officer of CSIOS Corporation briefed at the 4 th annual CyberSci Symposium 2016.

The Symposium is a one–day event hosted by ICF International with presentations from academia, government, and private industry. This year’s theme, “Cybersecurity Research and Development (R&D): Recommendations for the 45th President of the United States,” explored and discussed specific R&D concepts and progress relevant for the next administration.

In addition to Dr. Mitchell’s brief titled “Cyber and Intelligence R&D Funding Strategy,” the audience benefited from great presentations from General Michael Hayden, [former Director of the CIA and National Security Agency] and Dr. David Honey [Director, Science and Technology, and Assistant Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Science and Technology].

“The agenda for this year’s CyberSci was phenomenal and the speakers were top–notch” said Cesar Pie, President and CEO of CSIOS Corporation. Mr. Pie added, “This year’s Symposium offered an interactive environment to examine current and emerging cybersecurity challenges, trends, technologies and best practices.
