CSIOS Corporation, in partnership with Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), announced today the “Cesar Pie Cyber Defender Scholarship.”
Named after CSIOS’ Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a renowned cyber strategist, and an influential Hispanic leader in the field of cybersecurity, this is an “annually recurring” and “in perpetuity” $10,000 scholarship intended to make careers in the cybersecurity industry more accessible to underrepresented minority group students across MCPS’ 211 schools.
“Through this scholarship, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to expanding the cybersecurity talent in Maryland, while contributing to what matters most—our children’s future.” said Pie. Mr. Pie added, “The scholarship seeks to provide an opportunity for underrepresented students to pursue post–secondary education in the field of computer and information science, particularly cybersecurity.”

CSIOS Corporation announced today that client U.S. Army Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) has recertified its Continuous Improvement Program under International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and ISO 22301:2019 (Business Continuity Management Systems).
The scope of C5ISR Center CSSP ISO certifications is “The provision of Defensive Cyberspace Operations services to U.S. Federal subscribers worldwide in accordance with Executive, National, Federal, DOD, and U.S. Army cyber doctrine and requirements.”
CSIOS, who also maintains cyberspace operations and cybersecurity services certified under quadruple ISO standards, worked closely with partner Leidos Incorporated and the C5ISR Center CSSP to design, develop, and implement a custom, made-to-measure and now certified, Integrated Management System (IMS) for the C5ISR Center CSSP.
“The CSSP’s IMS is devised to recognize more efficient, effective, and time–saving management processes; continuously improve service delivery levels; enhance cyber incident handling, continuity of operations, disaster recovery operations, and cyber exercise programs; and minimize disruptions to cybersecurity services–all while reducing operating costs and continuing to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.” said Mr. Clinton Hackney, Vice President of CSIOS’ Cyberspace Operations Division.
